Twenty five years ago, Michael & Regina Evans, of Chicago, IL, had one big goal in mind when they joined Primerica. “I just wanted to make enough money to buy a burgundy BMW with BBS gold rims and surround sound,” smiles Michael. “On my $24,000 per year contract negotiator’s salary, that was a dream, but within six months at Primerica, we’d earned enough part-time for me to buy my first brand new car!”
While the money they earned building a Primerica business was great, Michael and Regina really got a taste for what turned into their real goal: helping families just like theirs to get on track for financial freedom. “We loved the fact that we could earn a great income for helping people,” says Michael. “That’s still true today. In this economy, people need to know that we are still changing lives and making a difference. We’re finding that families are even more open to Primerica now than they ever were because they see the stability of this company.”

Today, Michael and Regina are earning more than $600,000* annually because of their Primerica business and they recently took a big step forward by advancing to the highest business level in Primerica: Senior National Sales Director (SNSD).
When they decided to go for the SNSD level, they did it by focusing on building a big team and then helping those teammates succeed. “We had everyone focus on growth through bringing new people into the business, getting those new teammates life licensed and out helping families get on track for their dreams,” explains Michael. “That focus on growth helped three of our teammates advance to Regional Vice President (RVP), one – Joseph Ward – to advance to Senior Vice President (SVP), which then pushed us up to SNSD.”
One of Primerica’s core business building concepts is the idea of “pushing up people.” When leaders like Michael and Regina work to help their teammates achieve the success they’re dreaming of, the benefits come back to them as well.
“In the next year, our plan is to help at least 10 of our teammates advance to RVP, add a minimum of 10 new $50,000* Club Watch earners, five new $100,000* Club Ring earners and help at least 10 of our current Ring wearers add an additional $100,000* or more to their incomes,” Michael says. “We believe that if our team achieves those goals for themselves, then Regina and I will be able to increase our cash flow to the million-dollar* level!”
