Bernadette & John Lougheed, of Red Deer, Alberta, are fantastic examples of living a “no excuses” life. A month after she was life licensed, Bernadette had their seventh child. During the next few years, she had kids eight and nine. “We live on a farm, 30 miles from the nearest city,” says Bernadette. “We’re proof that if you want something badly enough, it doesn’t matter how many kids you have or if you live in a rural community, you can still build a big business.”
