Zgheib Earns a Second Diamond*

Tuesday, July 12th, 2011

Pierre and Therese ZgheibBig congratulations to Pierre & Therese Zgheib, of Hamilton, Ontario, for earning a second diamond! Reps earn the Primerica Ring when they reach the $100,000* in income within a single 12-month period and then they receive diamond accents for each additional $100,000 in income they earn within the same time period.

*Primerica income figures are based upon rolling 12‑month gross cash flow (including advances) as of April 2011. The cash flows stated are not intended to demonstrate the earnings of typical RVPs/representatives. Rather, the cash flows that have been cited reflect the potential that comes with building your business, and there is no guarantee that you will achieve any specific cash flow level. Most RVPs/representatives do not achieve the levels illustrated. In the 12‑month period ending in December 2010, Primerica paid a total of $503,115,928 in compensation to the sales force at an average of $5,296 per licensed representative. Average RVP earnings are typically higher. Actual gross cash flow is, among other factors, dependent upon the size and scale of a representative’s organization, the number of sales and the override spread on each sale, and the ability and efforts of you and your downlines. Having said this, Primerica provides a tremendous opportunity for individuals who work hard and who desire to develop a business with strong income potential.

Joshua and Janice Huffman

It’s been an incredible journey for Primerica veterans, Joshua & Janice Huffman, of Dallas, TX. They started out with Primerica as clients, then took advantage of the business opportunity and, today, are well on their way to million-dollar* status! But it almost didn’t happen. “Years ago, one of our friends from church was a successful Primerica rep,” recalls Joshua. “He had approached me many times about joining the business myself, but I had a ‘good job’ and couldn’t see myself becoming a salesperson. As clients, we loved the financial concepts and the products Primerica offers but we weren’t interested in becoming entrepreneurs.”

But timing, as they say, is everything. Joshua’s former occupation was as the head of sales and marketing for a large homebuilding company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He says he had been promised compensation from a percentage of the company profits, yet when it came time for his boss to make good on that promise, he got a pink slip instead. “In hindsight, it was the best thing that could ever have happened to us,” Joshua reflects. “When my friend asked us again about joining Primerica, we were ready.”

Over the years, the Huffmans have built a solid, successful business and they are proud of their accomplishments. But, more than that, they say they are thrilled with how their own lives – and the lives of others in their community – have been positively impacted because their business. “Primerica has changed our lives in many ways,” says Joshua. “Our leadership model forces you to grow as a person. As a result, I believe I’ve become a better father and a better spouse. This company focuses on treating everyone with respect and teaches you to set goals, to have positive expectations and to accept responsibility for your own choices. We’ve been able, through our influence, to pass those same values on to our children – who are now doing the same for their own.”

DeFeos Break Personal Best Income Record with $76,844* in April!

Dan and Kate DeFeo

When Dan & Kate DeFeo, of West Bridgewater, MA, first started out in the business they were like many twenty somethings. With just a year of college under his belt, and $43,000 in student loans, Dan took a job as a mechanic. “I was working as a mechanic and constantly doing side jobs to earn a living,” recalls Dan. “Despite always feeling like I was working, it was never enough. I couldn’t imagine making $14 per hour for the rest of my life. So when I heard about the Primerica business opportunity, I went to a local office and got started.”

It was a decision that forever impacted the course of his and Kate’s lives. “Here, we own our own time,” reflects Dan. “We decide our own quality of life. We are in charge of our future. Here, we don’t get laid off and we don’t have to ask anyone’s permission to take time off to be with our kids, to go on vacation or to spend time with family.”

He continues, “This business has helped Kate and me to have a wonderful marriage, to enjoy time with our children and, most of all, it has given us the opportunity to take care of the people we love without looking at the price tag.”

A few years ago, the DeFeos got a taste of the freedom their business has allowed them to create for themselves when Dan’s father became ill. “My dad needed dialysis and he didn’t have a reliable vehicle to take him to and from the medical facility,” explains Dan. “Because of our Primerica income, we were able to buy him a car so he wouldn’t have to take public transportation. Dialysis gave us about seven more years with him that we wouldn’t have had if he hadn’t been able to take the treatment. This business also gave us the chance to help Kate’s parents. Her mother, at age 70, wanted to retire but couldn’t afford to. We were able to not only add onto our home to create a separate living space for them, but we also paid off all their debts!”

Muñozes Hit Personal Record Income of $38,114* in April!

Mario and Viviana Munoz

Mario and Viviana Muñoz, of Irwindale, CA, have come a long way since their former occupations as a delivery driver (Mario) and Registered Nurse (Viviana). Because of Primerica, their lives are completely different – in a good way! “Aside from the fact that because of this business we are debt free and have saved more money than we ever were able to before, we are most proud that we’ve been able to send our three daughters to private school,” smiles Mario.

Enjoying a great income – like their record breaking April earnings – is only one of the benefits of being entrepreneurs. “Building a Primerica business has been great for Viviana’s and my relationship,” Mario reflects. “We’ve learned to respect each other in a deeper way, to communicate better and to truly understand each other. Primerica has helped us to develop mental toughness, which has sent our self-esteem and self-confidence through the roof!”

It’s not just the personal successes that keep the Muñozes excited about continuing to grow their business. It’s the lives they’ve been able to change during their journey that make them proud to be a part of Primerica. “One of our clients that comes to mind was a young couple with three kids,” recalls Mario. “The wife didn’t think that having life insurance protection was that important but we were persistent in explaining the value and she eventually agreed. Three months after the husband’s policy was issued, he died in a car accident. Because we were there for that family, the widow isn’t struggling financially and has expressed how grateful she is for Primerica.”
