Ken & Kimberly Hobbs Reach New Level of Success: Two Diamonds!

Ken & Kimberly Hobbs, of Lake Worth, FL, were on their annual missions trip to South Africa when they learned they’d clicked over the $200,000 mark.* “What a business!” enthuses Ken. “It’s so exciting to realize the rewards – and the freedom – that can come from being in this business.”

He continues, “Our main goal was to help our teammates build it big and reach their goals. We promoted a new Regional Vice President and coached them to the Power Builder Watch level (which Primerica reps receive when they earn at least $50,000 of income and add a minimum of 50 people to their team within a single 12-month period,) in the same month we got our second diamond. Pushing up people is the secret to real success here. It’s also important to keep your priorities straight: God first, family second and business third.”

Growing up, Ken watched his parents, Ken & Linda Hobbs, build a great life for their family as Primerica entrepreneurs. “Dad always made money and worked hard,” recalls Ken. “He is a great leader and an example for our family. In my mind, there was never a question of ‘if’ Primerica works, it was just a matter of whether my siblings and I would do what it takes to win.

“Because of this business, we have traveled to places we have only dreamed of. We have the freedom to be the best parents and leaders we can be. We qualified for full Ownership in Hawaii this February so our children now have the opportunity to continue the legacy for generations.** In fact, our son is planning to join the business once his U.S. Navy service is completed!”

When Senior Vice President (SVP) Ken & Linda Hobbs, of Margate, FL, first heard about Primerica, they saw the business opportunity as not just a way to make a great income, but also as the perfect complement to their desire to help people. “I was a minister before Primerica,” says Ken. “I went into that line of work because I really wanted to use my life to help others.”

Ken and Linda say they fell in love with Primerica’s mission of helping families to become properly protected through term life insurance, debt free through our debt solutions and financially independent through savings and investing. “We loved everything Primerica stood for plus we really liked the idea of building a business that we could pass on to our kids,” explains Ken.

Working together as a family has always been important for the Hobbses. First in a partnership with Linda and later as a full fledged family business with three of their four sons, Ken couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve built. “From the top down, Primerica is all about family,” says Ken. “In the corporate world, your work life is controlled by your boss. At Primerica, our sons don’t work for us as employees, they work with us, building their own individual businesses within our organization. We benefit from their success but they also benefit from the experience and mentorship we can share with them.”

Kris Hobbs, of Sunrise, FL, grew up watching his parents, Ken & Linda Hobbs, build a successful Primerica business. He saw the lifestyle they were able to have because of their Primerica income* but didn’t really understand the heart of the business until a few years ago. “I was working as a warehouse manager and I had to have hip surgery,” recalls Kris. “My doctor told me I wouldn’t be able to walk for three months, so I couldn’t work. Every day, my dad would come pick me up and take me into the office so I’d at least be able to do something while I recovered.”

He continues, “As I started to learn more about the business and about what we do for families, I realized that this is where I needed to be. Now, I’m building a business and also running the office for my dad and two brothers.”
