Brian & Christy Holman

Brian & Christy Holman, of Modesto, CA, were just starting their adult life when they found Primerica. “We were broke college kids when we joined this business,” recalls Brian. “If we wanted something nice, we put it on credit. There were always bills or unexpected expenses. Today, our $300,000 per year income makes things a lot easier! We don’t live on credit and we save more per month than we used to earn.”

He continues, “It’s taken a lot of hard work to get here and it’s required a lot of change on our part, as leaders. We’ve really made a conscious decision to get better on a daily basis and we’ve prayed a lot! We have an amazing team with some of the finest people in the company. We feel very blessed to have this opportunity!”

Phenomenal work, Brian and Christy! You’ve put the principles Primerica teaches into practice, and it’s changed your present AND your future.

Poe Begins Family Legacy with Ownership, Third Diamond*

Tonia Poe

Growing up in Compton, CA, Tonia Poe says the concept of a family legacy was unheard of. “People don’t talk about passing a business down to their children,” explains Tonia. “When I joined Primerica and learned about the Ownership program, all I could think about was my daughter, Tyler.** I felt like I HAD to achieve Ownership not only for my daughter, but to show people back home what they can do if they do what I did!”

As a newly minted third diamond earner and full Owner, Tonia is well on her way to the life she came to Primerica to create. (Primerica reps receive the Ring when they earn $100,000* of income within a single 12-month period and diamond accents for each additional $100,000 earned within the same timeframe.)

“What I love about this business is that it teaches you to rely on yourself – to go do the work to make your dreams happen,” says Tonia. “So often, as women, we’re taught to rely on others – a man, our family, etc. – for success. But Primerica gives you the opportunity and the ability to do what you need to do to change your life.”

Awesome job, Tonia! You’re a powerful example of what hard work and determination, plus Primerica, can accomplish.

Kostelnik & Andrews Put on a Second Diamond*

Friday, September 12th, 2014

Before Primerica, Joel Kostelnik, of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, owned a moving and storage company. “I had great, hard-working people working for me, but I couldn’t pay myself or pay them what they were worth and still keep the business afloat,” Joel explains. “I was gone a lot, driving the trucks, so I missed a lot of my children’s younger years as well. Plus, I was unemployed every time a move was complete. Then, I saw Primerica! This was an opportunity to build a business where I could help people have the same shot at an unlimited income that I had!”

Together with his Partner, Jennifer Andrews, Joel took that opportunity and ran with it.** In June, the pair broke the provincial licensing record with eight new licenses AND scored their second diamond! (Primerica reps receive the Ring when they earn $100,000* of income within a single 12-month period and diamond accents for each additional $100,000 earned within the same timeframe.)

“We were more excited about having eight licenses in one month than we were about the second diamond,” smiles Joel. “Licensing gives our business stability and longevity. With more licensed leaders, we can make a bigger impact and change more families’ lives.”

Fantastic work, Joel and Jennifer! Your focus on growing licensed distribution is enabling you to have an even greater impact on your community!

Redds Put on Second Diamond

Jerry Redd, of Dallas, TX, was a high school dropout working construction when a friend introduced him to Primerica. “I turned him down six times, but on the seventh, I finally agreed to check the business out,” recalls Jerry. “My full-time job had just given me early retirement at the age of 42, so the timing was perfect.”

Jerry didn’t have much knowledge about finance, but he and his wife, Debbie, were determined to make their new business work. Today, the pair are new diamond earners, with a vision for their third and fourth in the near future. (Primerica reps receive the Ring when they earn $100,000* of income within a single 12-month period and diamond accents for each additional $100,000 earned within the same timeframe.)

“Early on, we didn’t understand what earning six figures would mean for our family,” explains Jerry. “No one in my family had ever done it before, and I’d worked all my life as a ‘hard hat’ construction guy. Now, Debbie and I wake up every morning and decide what we want to do. I never set my alarm clock and I never have to think about designated sick days or vacation days from an employer. We’ve built our business, and our income, to the point where we are totally free!”

Incredible work, Jerry and Debbie! You’re using your Primerica business to “be somebody” and your successes prove that you’re really good at it!

Gurfeins Cross Over 12th Diamond Mark

Neal & Victoria Gurfein, of Irwindale, CA, are celebrating adding diamond number two to their Million-Dollar Ring.* (Primerica reps receive the Ring when they earn $100,000* of income within a single 12-month period and diamond accents for each additional $100,000 earned within the same timeframe.)

“What you focus on, grows,” enthuses Neal. “We’re just staying consistent, building a big base shop, growing strong RVPs, and personally producing premium and recruits. We have very high standards in our base shop and we hold ourselves and our team to certain expectations. We’ve made it a point to promote correctly – only promoting strong, independent Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) who are already making money. That allows both us and our new RVPs to not miss a beat.”

One of those expectations is for every member of the team to play at the top of their game … every day. “Right now, across the board, we have leaders at every level who are either at number one, or who are in the top five on the California leaders boards,” Neal says. “We have a lot of momentum in the base shop, we’re seeing diamond movement, and our teams’ belief level is at an all-time high.”

Keep up the amazing work, Neal and Victoria! Your focus on creating strong, independent new leaders is resulting in big-time growth for your business!
