Mahs Earn Second Diamond

Wednesday, January 21st, 2015

Before they found Primerica, Roland & Janet Mah, of Edmonton, Alberta, lived on Roland’s $32,000 annual salary as a teacher. When they joined the business, one of their biggest goals was to earn as much in a month as entrepreneurs as they had brought in during an entire year working for someone else. In October 2014, they earned close to $41,000 to cross over the second diamond mark!

(Primerica reps receive the Ring when they earn $100,000* of income within a single 12-month period and diamond accents for each additional $100,000 they earn within the same timeframe.)

“When we realized we were close, Janet and I got really excited!” enthuses Roland. “To reach this goal, I had to change. I knew that if I kept doing what I was already doing, I would continue to earn what I was earning. And what I was earning wasn’t where I wanted to be – for my family or for myself. I had to change.”

The Mahs joined Primerica to make a difference – and their second diamond achievement is evidence not only of their impact on their community, but also of Primerica’s impact on their own family’s life. “We were drawn to Primerica by the chance to help families,” explains Roland.

“Fighting for good, hard working, honest families who really wanted to get ahead, but who didn’t know how to get ahead. These people deserve to win, and we were sick and tired of watching them be taken advantage of by financial institutions. I come from one of those families, so I am very motivated to give others the same opportunities Janet and I have.”

Fantastic work, Roland and Janet! You’re providing a voice for the underserved Main Street market – and changing your own future in the process!

*As of October 2014. From January 1 through December 31, 2013, Primerica Canada paid a total of $97,083,991 in compensation to its Canadian sales force, at an average of $9,315 per licensed representative. Average RVP earnings are typically higher. Actual gross cash flow is, among other factors, dependent upon the size and scale of a representative’s organization, the number of sales and the override spread on each sale, and the ability and efforts of you and your downlines. Having said this, Primerica provides a tremendous opportunity for individuals who work hard and who desire to develop a business with strong income potential. 14PFS610

Rising Stars Claim Power Builder Ring*

Billy Wong & Jodi Chang, of Markham, Ontario, joined the business for two key reasons. “First, we were looking for a financial education,” says Billy. “Second, we wanted an opportunity to create financial freedom for our family. When we came here, we didn’t know anything about finance. We firmly believe, however, that everyone needs a financial education – and we saw Primerica as our chance to learn about money.”

For their first few years in the business, Billy built the business and Jodi supported him in her off hours from her full-time job. Then, about a year ago, she fired her boss and joined Billy full-time. “Our business really took off after she became our office manager,” explains Billy.

“There aren’t any ‘good’ jobs out there – I witnessed that watching what my wife went through in the corporate world. Primerica is a self development program with great income potential. The more we reach our goals, not only are we earning more money, we’re also becoming better people. That self development, in our minds, is worth much more than the $100,000 we’ve earned so far.”

Congratulations, Billy and Jodi! Your Power Builder Ring is a big step along your journey to financial freedom!

Biggars Earn Second Diamond*

Before they found Primerica, Don & Lindy Biggar, of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, earned a combined income of $50,000 per year from Don’s career as a painting contractor and Lindy’s career as a hairdresser. They wanted a better life, but they weren’t going to get there if they didn’t make a change. “Primerica rewards you, financially, for educating people and helping families make the right choices for their own financial futures,” explains Don.

He continues, “Here, we have the chance to keep building our business, to have Ownership of what we have built, and to know that we are doing the right thing for those we help.** These are things we couldn’t have achieved anywhere else.”

The Biggars are thrilled about their second diamond achievement. (Primerica reps receive the Ring when they earn $100,000 of income within a single 12-month period and diamond accents for each additional $100,000 they earn within the same timeframe.)

“Finding Primerica has given us a completely different lifestyle than we had before,” reflects Don. “We have been on many wonderful vacations with family and friends. Our children have had the privilege of attending private school, and they’ve been on outreach missions throughout the world. It feels amazing to have just earned our second diamond. We’re going to keep at it, building year by year!”

Keep up the great work, Don and Lindy! Your focus on doing what’s right for your clients has also changed your own family’s future forever.
