Prukners Build It Big for National Sales Director (NSD)

Five years ago, when Ian & Jess Prukner, of Auburn Hills, MI, joined Primerica, they saw this business as a way to earn what they were worth. “I was working as a music minister earning $27,000 per year,” says Ian. “We were drawn to Primerica because we saw that here, we were compensated on our efforts and merit, not on the title or position we held. This business is a level playing field.”

Ian says he felt like he wanted to have control over his income and Primerica offered them that. “I was 23 when we joined. I had a spiky hairstyle and earrings. Who else but Primerica would have given me a shot?” he reflects. “Over the last five years in Primerica, we have made more money than we would have earned had I stayed at my former occupation until I was 65.”

In September, the Prukners took their business to the next level when they advanced to NSD. But Ian says they’re not satisfied with reaching this goal. They want more! “We called a play for our team to fight to grow their own businesses so we could achieve the NSD level by our fifth anniversary,” enthuses Ian. “Now that we’re here, it feels great, but looking at all the big things going on in the company, we are reminded that we need to get much, much bigger. So our goals for the next year are to help at least three of our first generation leaders to advance to the next level and take our income over $500,000. In two years, we plan to be wearing the Million-Dollar Ring and be Senior National Sales Directors!”*
