Jay and Elisha Barringer Take It to the Next Level

When Jay & Elisha Barringer, of Valley Park, MO, decided to go for their Senior Vice President (SVP) advancement, their whole team rallied around them to make it happen. “It feels incredible to reach this level,” enthuses Jay. “It was a lot of hard work, but it paid off.”

One of the first things the Barringers did when they set this goal was to focus on helping their teammates to move up as well. “We set specific goals that we wanted each Regional Vice President and their teams to reach in order to grow their businesses,” explains Jay. “Once those were in place, we worked hard all summer to gain the momentum that pushed us up to the SVP level.”

Jay is no stranger to hard work. Before Primerica, he served in the U.S. military and worked in retail for a short period of time. When he and Elisha heard about Primerica, they knew they had what it took to build a successful business here. “After I left the military, I had an incredible work ethic and needed to find a place that would pay me what I was worth,” recalls Jay. “I was willing to put in the effort, I just needed an opportunity that would be worth my while. Primerica is that place!”

Together with their team, Jay and Elisha have built a Primerica business they are very proud of. “In these economic times, people are more open than ever to making a change,” says Jay. “They’re looking for someone to point them in the right direction – financially and career wise – and we have the solution! It’s up to us to tell more people how Primerica can change their lives … and we need to do it faster.”
