When Vitthal & Madhu Patel decided to join Primerica, they had no idea just how much that choice would change their lives. At the time, the Patels had emigrated from India to create a better life for their family. Vitthal was working in the field of science making a decent income, yet with two kids in college, their budget was feeling the strain. “We were having trouble affording our expenses,” recalls Vitthal, now of Union, NJ. “We joined Primerica to make some extra money part-time.”*
At first, Vitthal says he was comfortable building a Primerica business on the side, but the longer he was in it, the more excited he became about what he was doing. “I saw how we were helping families and that eventually convinced us to go full time in the business,” explains Vitthal. “In fact, early on, one of our friends who purchased term life insurance through us passed away – which showed us the power of what we were doing through this business.”
Today, the Patels run a successful, four diamond-earning business and they couldn’t be more thrilled.** “We are very, very happy to have earned a fourth diamond,” enthuses Vitthal. Primerica reps earn the Ring when they reach $100,000 in annual income within a single 12-month period and they receive diamond accents for each additional $100,000 they earn within the same timeframe.
“We focus on staying consistent, day after day,” he continues. “Most of our production comes from staying in contact with our current clients – in fact, we check in with them at least twice a year. This gives us the opportunity to further help them if anything has changed in their lives and to also get referrals for new business.”
He concludes, “We are where we are today because we set goals and worked hard. And that’s how we plan to get our fifth diamond next!”
Awesome job, Vitthal and Madhu! You joined the business to make some extra cash but ended up finding a successful and fulfilling career helping people!
*In Canada, the part-time opportunity is not available in all jurisdictions and, where it is available, is subject to certain restrictions.
**Primerica income figures are based upon rolling 12‑month gross cash flow (including advances) as of November 2011. The cash flows stated are not intended to demonstrate the earnings of typical RVPs/representatives. Rather, the cash flows that have been cited reflect the potential that comes with building your business, and there is no guarantee that you will achieve any specific cash flow level. Most RVPs/representatives do not achieve the levels illustrated. In the 12‑month period ending in December 2011, Primerica paid a total of $504,514,944 in compensation to the sales force at an average of $5,544 per licensed representative. Average RVP earnings are typically higher. Actual gross cash flow is, among other factors, dependent upon the size and scale of a representative’s organization, the number of sales and the override spread on each sale, and the ability and efforts of you and your downlines. Having said this, Primerica provides a tremendous opportunity for individuals who work hard and who desire to develop a business with strong income potential. 12PFS28

Primerica congratulates Dan Fairchild & Greg Korean, of Labelle, FL, for becoming the latest Power Builder Watch earners! Primerica reps receive this recognition when they earn at least $50,000* in income and add a minimum of 50 people to their team within a single 12-month period.
“We feel incredible about earning the Power Builder Watch! We are especially proud knowing that most of the work was done while we were still Division Leaders. It was the support of our upline and our team that made all of this possible!”
Super job, Dan and Greg! Keep up the great work out there!
